"real growth" without the destruction of the whole is the definition of "productivity gains"

To have a meaningful discussion we need to agree on the definition of terms that we use. I have been assuming we were talking about labor productivity, i.e., output per personhour worked. Do you have something else in mind? And what d you mean by the "destruction of the whole"?
