Mike, It is easy to over analyze these things, but I think that Clark's entry might help Dean in the long run. It takes off some of the pressure of being perceived as the "front runner" and give him a chance to recover from some of the perceived "gaffes" of the last several weeks. As for Hillary's plans, my money is with you and Safire.
