Oracle gained after the market bottom last year but hasn't participated in any recent rallies. Half of oracle's market is in india now, come on this was really stupid on their part. How much is productivity software worth to an indian workforce? Larry naively thought he could dump his company and his largest customers wouldn't follow suit. Oracle's earnings were bad, analysts were "shocked" at new license revenues. Guess what there are tons of new licenses but not much money involved, why- because the new licenses are all in india.

BTW I think in general we are in for a changing of the software guard. Msft getting sloppy I think they are on the decline too. I think linux on an AMD Opteron is the next trend in the enterprise, not wintel at all.

Broadband looking up though, way up. We are big worldcom customers in my office and we will be adding lots of users.
