Those who are truly patriots make the case through facts and argument, rather than fact-free pretense and personal attack.
The facts show we have extremists in Washington, the neoconservatives as they call themselves (they even jokingly refer to themselves as "The Cabal"), who are in fact destroying the country, and it looks like they'll only continue, until they are removed.
The facts are as stated in the previous post, the greatest deficit in any country's history, damage to goodwill around the world, and decreased security, as admitted by the administration themselves. The only possible way out is to (a)declare that everything was worse prior to Jan. 2001, and that (b)this path is the only way to make things better.
Those arguments are destroyed by personal attacks, attempts at portraying those who disagree as "unpatriotic", etc. |
