"You should be treating that as a win rather than ... Ah, now I think I get it. It might help you to know that getting credited with a "win" is of little value to some of us. There are other motives for engaging on this thread. Stomping in puddles, for example, has a tendency to get as much on the stomper as the owner of the puddle. Its the wonder at what gets splashed up, or the swirely designs left in the pool that is motivating. In my view anyone that engages seeking the wonder of the unknown is a winner. In that respect you have accomplished much and can wear your ornaments with honor. Bantering to bant someone into silence and calling that a victory is actually a non-ribbon event. I have been toying with a new topic but haven't been able to totally put it into words yet. Maybe you can help. Its on the ethics subject. Its something like this: There are people willing to lower themselves in very rude ways, knowing that they will get something from another person who refuses to go to that level. They may consider it a win in a power struggle. I am not ready with examples yet but do you get what I am saying?
