Todays News:

I lost power due to the hurricane, I was out for about 2 days, The weather was mild, I had a gas hot water heater (and was on city water), plenty of non-perishible food, so it was just a minor annoyance overall.

I am thinking about buying a natural gas generator but will probably blow it off since I have only had two outages in the last four years in this house. One was overnight due to a lightning strike on a substation and the two-day outage due to the hurricane. Not too bad overall.
