gold will probably never be used in monetary system again
unless we enter a depression
a gold cover clause would enable exit from the depression
but only a depression would motivate such an extreme move

WE OPENED PANDORA'S BOX IN 1971
no turning back, unless the system is destroyed
I expect it to come close
the best the Fed can do now is to engineeer a stagnation beyond all human expectations
this stagflation will be much worse than the 1970 decade
job losses will be worse also
debt levels are around tripled what they were back then
so the damage to the economy will be much worse
