Take a look at my article on the CCI/Macd Reversal System in the TAOTN - New Jersey book for complete details. Suffice it to say I'm primarily interested in noting those points where CCI revereses regardless of where that reversal occurs. Oversold is considered -150 and below while overbought is +200 and above. Once said CCI reversal point is identified look for Macd(5/35/4) confirmation (i.e., blue crossing above white for a buy and blue crossing below white for a sell). Best way to understand this is to look at lots of charts.

In summation, a CCI reversal triggers a Buy/Sell Alert. A subsequent MACD confirmation triggers a Buy/Sell signal.
