It does not mean anything at all that John did not mention the events of 70 AD in the revelation. Why would he if God was giving him a vision that concerned the future? And it's not logical to say the revelation was before 70 AD because the 70 AD events were not mentioned.

It's not Herod's temple that is measured in the Revelation. I believe it is the new Jerusalem.
