I've certainly notice the advertising on all sorts of cars 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, 375 horsepower. Right there I sit blocked in behind a huge stinking semi-trailer on a four lane highway going 60 miles per hour with some dodo on my bumper who thinks that if he just tailgates a little closer that I will magically be able to open a new lane for him. Do you know what I mean. Sure I like the open road as much as anyone, but it seems more difficult to find space in front (or in back of a car anymore).

Then there are these people who are complaining about the fuel companies charging too much for gasoline. If they would quit buying these huge impractical vehicles, just maybe the price would drop and as a bonus we would all breathe a little easier.

Say does anyone know for certain what kind of batteries are in the Insight, and the Prius. Are they 2200 Mah "D" cells? I have seen 8000 Mah "D" cells for sale. I have another question why are the prismatic batteries better than the cylindrical ones? Is it because they can be cooled easier? The battery manufacturing joint venture in China should be completed by now and making sales shouldn't it?
