Brooks Automation Elects Ed Grady to its Board of Directors

CHELMSFORD, Mass., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Brooks Automation, Inc. (Nasdaq: BRKS - News), which delivers total automation for semiconductor manufacturing and related industries, today announced that on September 18, 2003 the Company's Board of Directors elected Edward J. Grady as a Director of Brooks Automation. Mr. Grady is Brooks' president and chief operating officer, having joined the Company in those capacities in February 2003.
