She is not a Blogger, she is a columnist.
I wasn't aware we were omitting bloggers...my original post concerned bloggers, and you brought in columnists, so I say both are fair game.
Franken and Moore are as outrageous on the left...
Maybe Moore, but not Franken....Franken writes with too much brio to compare with either Moore or Coulter.
Dowd is the closest to her of the people with columns.
I can see no similarities between the witty, literate Dowd and the coarse and vulgar Coulter.
One thing I will give Coulter, she can handle herself on the Cable talk shows. You won't see Dowd on them, and Krugman is a disaster on TV.
I avoid TV talk shows, so you have the advantage here.
There are people out there, left and right, who have have political pages up that are totally "out of it". We have them on SI also, as you know.
I know...I have about two dozen on IGNORE, not because they are opposition, but because they bring nothing to the discussion. Not that I always do, either. <g>
BTW, I forgot to mention that "REASON" has some excellent writers, who I post here on a regular basis.
I like REASON the best of the three you mentioned, mostly because its so, uh, reasonable. |
