Forecaster, definitions of proved, probable and possible reserves are well established and mutually exclusive (see spe.org There seems to be less of a consensus over the meaning of "enhanced oil recovery" (see business-fundamentals.com but it would seem to be used most commonly to describe additional recovery over and above conventionally calculated proved, proven, and possible reserves. In that context then, all 4 items (proved, probable, possible and enhanced) can properly be added. The "additional exploration mean potential" just looks to me like a guestimate of future finds which could be away off the mark in either direction. Re East Karavanchi, I don't have a clue. Maybe a question for Ihor?. He's usually responsive to email queries. Tom
