Hi Haim: I have not gone yet - and probably will not at all, depends on my kids if they care to join me. Maybe my grandson (of 2.5 months) would like to go, it's the first Wiesen(*) for him anyhow.

How is it businesswise? the weather is gorgeous, so it will probably be a good year. The price for one stein of beer (that BIG juggabeer you see on all the post cards) did not go up - so no sign of inflation in Bavaria, when it comes to items substantial to the majority of population -.

Will report.

(*) Wiesen (pronounced wizzn) means meadow and that's how Bavarians call it since oh well 1840 something. Used to be meadow ("let's go to wiesen for the weekend") outside the town perimeter, but since some time it's a spot - bald more or less the whole year, busses & trucks parking - right in the middle of it...
