So the Cold War was about just what the USA wanted? Misinterpreting what I said in the way you want, your usual way. No, we would prefer is Germany matured and learned to bear its responsibilities in the world. Germany has been paying 4% of its GDP for over a decade to clean up the mess of socialism in the former GDR. Your nations inability and unwillingness to project force is unacceptable. The only ally contributing more than Germany to Enduring Freedom is Great Britain.
