After reading the UN speech by the US Leader and following this superb, informative thread I wonder if the world will divide into three camps for a period?: the terrorists who fight for the old world view and a stake in the oil resources; the UN Mandate countries who are looking to the future; and the US as a renegade, backward looking, imperial power?

If democracy really exists in the US then perhaps it will show up in the next federal election and the backward leading Cabal who have hijacked the US agenda will be turffed out and a country with such great, global leadership potential will move ahead into the future once again.

...just a thought from one of the many observers on this thread.....
