I guess it's my turn to offer you the advice to calm down.

First, tracing the environmental movement back to the Nazi's is about as far fetched as it gets and a clear indication you and I had best not type to one another on this one. You do get worked up.

Second, all this stuff about the Left and the Right fails to address clear issues like the acid rain issue. I gather you wish to argue that midwestern plants don't dump acid rain on the northeast. Or, alternately, that they do but concern for it is only politically driven. Hmmm.

Third, and finally, thank heavens, opposition to environmental degradation is the path of "reason" and opposition to such is, to put it nicely, ideological hogwash.

Well, best repeat that admonition above that you and I had best either not type to one another on this one or find some other way to lower the boiling point.

It will be a serious political issue in the upcoming campaign. Hopefully.
