Do you have a link to Polycarp's statement? I seem to remember reading it. I vaguely remember also a statement that John was running to catch someone on a horse which leads me to think that Polycarp associated his statement with a much earlier time since John would have to have been in his 90s during that time period. No one that old would be running after a horse at that advanced age.( if I remember correctly.)

Please do not blow off all of the verses and references that Brian and I have left you as proof of the Parousia happening in 70 AD.
