Spector up for re-election this could hurt him. John, I don't see how. My impression of Spector is that he has always positioned himself as a centrist Republican. He waves the extremist right wing stuff a wee bit in general elections but it's clear his heart isn't in it. I assume the more significant question is whether he will have an opponent in the primaries and/or the strength of his dem opponent. Any thoughts?
