Consider all funds spent on helping Iraq become more democratic as a wise investment in the future for both you and your finances. Once democracy starts to spread throughout the Mid-east, the world will become more peaceful and that will result in average investors returning to the stock market.

The President of Spain was interviewed on TV last night--impressed me as a very intelligent person. He said Americans would be wise to re-elect GWB since he has been a fine President and took the correct action in Iraq. To prove just how wise the Spanish Pres is, he will not run for elected office again after completion of his second term because he is convinced that politicians should offer their services for a few yrs, then move on and give others a chance to do the same. Wish he would talk to Sen Robt Byrd about that philosophy--that man has become senile before our eyes. If 65y/o retirement is considered necessary for the public in general, it should be for members of congress as well.
