I have several discussion topics ready. The Heidegger one goes something like this (I am happy to refine the topic as we go)

Our role with nature:

Conquerers of nature vs living in harmony with nature.

Part of the question becomes "what nature?," "what conquering?", and "what harmony?" It seems that we have an inner wilderness of our own to contend with. If we are able to conquer the inner desires to possess the world, then aren't we more likely to be at harmony with it. Don't all things then become an aspect or at least a state of nature. Civilization in a city being one state, the rain forest being another.
