Nope he got the republican votes .. they crossed over .. me too. He promised to bring slots to race tracks and reduce property taxes by 50% or so.. and would raise state income tax.. well he got in.. he then figures to cut property taxes by 15% and support more money for pre school.. and one other of his social programs... So now he is held up in the state house as his bill is going no where until he takes out the money for pre school. also he is not getting his state income tax increase.. put in the slot machines and use the money to cut property taxes.. that is as far as it has gotten with republican house and senate.
Rendall program is quite a big increase in state income taxes and most higher income people $50,000 up maybe will lose out on his proposals.. When he ran it sounded like a wash.. or close to it.. but now not even close..

As i remember Santorum first got electric on a throw out of everybody who was in there.. At the time we had a guy who headed up peace corps years ago and was filling the slot temporarily as the Hines senator was killed in a helo accident.. No one knew who Santorum was at the time it was a protest vote against incumbents.... I doubt he gets re-elected again.. He really pisses a lot of people off.. his manner is very abrasive imo.
