Hi John, I think what is often overlooked is the fact that electricity saves many lives. Having electric service is a net plus...not a negative. And folks want their power cheap. Cleaning up old power plants is very very expensive. Building new cleaner plants is quite expensive now and about to become more so as we pump the price of natural gas up. Everyone is afraid of nuclear plants. The problem is much more complicated than a dirty chimney. uw
