Depends on whose post you wish to start with, ak. I posted a brief New Yorker article by Elizabeth Kolbert which was a critique of the Bush environmental policies. Bill replied with a serious rant, part of which took us back to the Nazis. I added a short article from the NYTimes today on the melting of an ice shelf in northern Canada.

So, take your pick. Though I should remind you that the actual debate about environmental policies is not one that any of us will reenter with much enthusiasm. It's been done to a faretheewell. My original post, which I'm beginning to regret, was about the politics of the environment. About which, there is no doubt, the Bush people are on the wrong side.
