Testing the plants yielded a startling discovery--that the plants actually had medicinal value.

I have read recent medical research that indicates humans have canninoid (sp?) receptors, whose sole purpose seems to be to interact with cannibis (marijuana).

If proven true, would this blow the lid off the Drug War?

When my ex's mother lay dying from stomach cancer, cannabis was the only medicine that gave her relief from pain, stimulated her appetite enough to eat and controlled the nausea enough to keep her food down.

I risked arrest and a criminal record to bring her medicine, at her request.

There has been no doubt in my mind since that some plants have medicinal value and that the Federal government's efforts to keep such relief from terminal patients is misguided to the point of being evil.
