We went into Iraq for payback. Payback for 9-11, for an unprovoked attack on our sovereign land. The world is on notice, this is what happens if you ever try that again.


So Al Qaeda and UBL attack us, we take it out on an unrelated entity? We couldn't get the backing of the UN for this pre-emptive attack. We had the weapons inspectors back in Iraq, and the business of working with the world to make Iraq a better place was suddenly pushed aside so that we could avenge UBL?

That's crazy. Even Bush says there is no connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda.
