Joe and Ken, GM announced earlier this year that they are switching to Palladium for catalyctic converters as the price of Platinum has moved higher than the cost of Palladium.

PAL is the lowest cost producer of Palladium. The company's operating margins are protected by a palladium sales contract that provides a floor price of US$325 per ounce on 100% of production through mid-2005.
