If it's born to starve of famine, and take the rest of its family down with it, or kill its mother because her body is depleted from child bearing, I'd say so. Awful. In the West we control the sizes of our families for very good reasons. It is unfair not to allow people of the developing world also to have the luxury to control their reproduction. Of course there is always infanticide- widely practiced- I happen to think an early term abortion is preferable to infanticide, and birth control even better. Do you have any substance to add? Or just the one liner? Can't believe you had the temerity to tell me my post with good numbers and lovely graphs was lacking, and then you add...THIS.
