I would guess that there's more fear behind the screens then might appear from our posts.

Let me put it another way, some of us might be more conservative then our posts imply. I don't put to use any money in the stock market that I can't afford to lose (not that I want to lose it but I can afford to if the selections I make go against me). While it would be devastating to my ego and painful to my wallet, losing it all would not affect my lifestyle and therefore I can "afford" to play the more risky small caps and micros.

Now I can't speak for others here but I would hope (and I'd like to believe) that those of us here are fully aware of the risks involved in trading stocks. I've always told everyone who asks: "If you can't afford to lose the money, don't put it in the stock market!". Period. Geez, I sure hope y'all approach the market with a similar understanding!
