Well Jim Mac: I guess the market anwered my question for me. The dip below $7 was not a pleasant sight. In fact, at one time today I was down by 5% in my whole portfolio. I was sweating bullets.

I think today was a great example of how sentiment drives the market. As far as I know, there was no real reason for todays blood bath, but it still occurred. I do know that Coke make a less than enthusiastic announcement and that might have been all that was needed to start the stampede. It is interesting that Coke is one of the companies most touted when it comes to consistent earnings. While I have nothing against the company, I do believe that it represents an overconfidence on the part of the investors, which of course is not Coke's fault.

Have a great weekend and take it easy.
