I think your wife's right :). Mine's been out of the country for a month so my son has taken over as my rudder. I was starting to think I was walking on water the past month too. The first bad trade (an ego induced "I know this stock better than the market" one)of the month pissed me off and instead of stepping aside I tried to turn it my way through sheer force of will....with predictable result. I took the day off yesterday and drank wine with a friend since I could feel I was beginning to force trades. Sometimes the best trade is a glass of wine and cash until the rhythm returns. Bonds, gold, energy, tech...even the obvious long term plays look like a pigs breakfast for the moment.
