Yes, by all means, check them out. Ludwig Mies van der Rohe did a lot of interesting work. I saw a couple of shows about him in New York a couple of years ago, but there is a lot of material in books and on the Web. I saw a show of Josef Albers famous juxtaposed squares of color awhile back, at the Guggenheim, and I have to say that he was on to something, exploring the interaction among various colors and shades. Walter Gropius, of course, was one of the brains behind the Bauhaus. He wrote a book called Total Architecture that is quite interesting. It used to be available in paperback, and could probably still be found in university bookstores.......
