Thought I would ask if when you speak of "volatility" of a closed end fund of municipal bonds, you mean the possibility of an enduring (ten years or more) large loss of principal because of a rise in long term interest rates?

I am scared of what an increase in interest rates would do even to my wife's TIPS fund, which would be adjusted upwards for increases in the CPI. I am hedging for her by buying Juno.
