Mike, interesting summation... the question I have to ask is this... I don't really care whose technology is superior, all I care about is increasing the value of my investments. Are you saying that based on your opinion, QCOM stock is going to rise more than Nokia or Ericsson over the next few years? Or is this just a CDMA/TDMA "jihad" for you and you don't care about making money?

What's to keep me from investing in Ericsson for the next 2 years, then move to QCOM once CDMA starts dominating (if it ever does)? I think a few of the frequent posters to this thread need to remove the emotion from their investing decisions and look at which stocks are actually appreciating in value.

P.S. The WSJ has an article today about another new chunk of the Brazillian cellular market being won at auction by a consortium that will use....... wow.... tired old TDMA. So what's up with that?
