You can't fight and win against a true bull market. Gold is probably trying to shake out some non-believers, which it always does, before the next big run after it goes above 400 and these shorts cover in panic. If people want physical gold, and they don't have it, you have a price spike. Everyone is assuming they (bullion banks) have the gold. Well, do they? If they don't, it's a bluff, which will be called by Mr. Market.
