He only received a copy. Halutz added the letter speaks of the “Israeli occupation”, explaining the refusal to take part in missions by the signatories is nothing more than a political statement and therefore, deemed unacceptable by the military. Halutz added the letter represents a very small number, 27 pilots among “thousands,” and therefore, it must be kept in the proper proportion.
