Advanced Optics Electronics Signs with Tech Marketer for COLOR-CHEK Military Sales; Biomoda Inc. Expands International Patent Position
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 26, 2003--Advanced Optics Electronics Inc. (OTC BB:ADOT)
A technology-orientated marketer, AOK Marketing Inc., has contracted with Advanced Optics Electronics Inc. ("ADOT") to direct the sales campaign of its color speech processor, "COLOR-CHEK." AOK will immediately focus on military sales due to COLOR-CHEK's application in low-light environments. It is expected that COLOR-CHEK can help expand military capability at a very affordable cost. After potential modification, AOK is targeting an offering price well under $250 per unit. At this price, each military team member, not only squad leaders, can be outfitted with a device to contribute to their superiority.
COLOR-CHEK is being readied for final company review before mid-October, at which time ADOT anticipates firming preliminary production numbers for the initial production run.
ADOT is finalizing its buy-back program to obtain approval from the appropriate regulatory agencies within the next 60 days. Upon approval, an appropriate news release will be issued.
Biomoda Inc.(of which ADOT directly and indirectly owns and controls 30 percent) was informed that additional patents pending received approval in Mexico. The company has scheduled additional countries to expand its international level of patent protection. Biomoda believes it is near finishing the regulatory processing now ongoing with the NASD.
