Philip... Caliper has a great scientific board, and is very well bankrolled. Lam has a LOT of credibility. It would make sense for AFFX to use these techniques in sample handling. HYSQ came public at the top of its range, about $14. So its well regarded, and someone should read the prospectus and tell us what they have thats special and different. But, Im on holiday for a week or so, and it wont be me. I hear that AFFX is sitting on positive news. Finally, for seasonal influences in biotech, you should be aware that interest peaks in Jan Feb, and reaches its lowest ebb in July August. I'm seeing a gradual improverment in my portfolio -- this is seasonally the best time to take positions... CAREFULLY.
