TWNN, you looking at installing a new drive and starting over? Other than doing an almost daily total HD backup, which I find silly, there aren't many ways to recover from a crash. You have to install a new HD even if you're totally backed up. Of course, if you don't have all the software original CD's, you're problem becomes enormous.
