Here in Denmark we have 2 pastors who insist that charity only applies to those nearest to one. Certainly not applicable to those outside a nation's borders. They are members of parliament and were elected under the party called the Danish Peoples Party. Their leader recently went to court where she tried to get a journalist judged for slander because the journalist said that this leader's remarks were racist. She lost her case and then she went to the supreme court and lost there as well. This party supplies support for the present Danish government and the support for Danish participation in Bush's war. Without this "charitable" and racist party then the coalition of the willing would have been fewer by one.
