Led a team of five persons to develop an IPSec-based high performance network cipher machine by incorporating a PCI accelerating cipher card on FreeBSD.

Mar 2001 - Nov 2001, "Elliptic Curve Cryptography and Combined Public Key Management Technique"

Developed and optimized a high-performance implementation of Elliptic Curve Cryptography.
Led a team of two persons to implement a key management system prototype to validate the feasibility of Combined Public Key Technique that is based on ECC.

Measured network traffics of China Education & Research Network (CERNET).

Applied the self-similar model to analyze the characteristics of our own measured network traffic traces and other traces provided by Bellcore for the research on forecast and control of network traffics.
