As to the "initial innocuous description" of the outfit, see the post I made to Karen about her changes. As initially described, innocuous is not the term that comes to mind.
When one or two people react strangely to a situation, you can say that's their issue. But when ALL the guests, except the wife's family, look askance, then you have to think AuntieK is really wearing something outlandish and inappropriate. |
