On The Cusp Or Over The Cliff?

Currency tensions, geopolitical disagreements and OPEC combined to unnerve investors this week, exposing the underlying lack of conviction about the sustainability of the economic upturn. Because the geopolitical backdrop will remain highly uncertain for an extended period, it reinforces why President Bush will pull out all stops to boost the economy, otherwise he stands little chance of being re-elected.
