ConSyGen Announces Year 2000 Projects For Fortune 50 Company

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 1997--ConSyGen, Inc. (NASDAQ:BB - news) announced today that it has agreed to do two YEAR 2000 pilot projects for a U.S. Fortune 50 company. ConSyGen will use its ConSyGen 2000 automated toolset for the identification and correction of Year 2000 date conditions for the clients applications that run on two different IBM mainframe environments. There are approximately 575,000 lines of code involved in both projects. Even though the client is not being charged, it is anticipated that successful completion of these two pilot projects will lead to revenue producing contracts from this Fortune 50 company in the near future.

Ron Bishop, President and CEO, stated: ``ConSyGen has been working very hard to add new hardware environments to its ConSyGen 2000 toolset. We can now offer Year 2000 conversions on BULL, HEWLETT-PACKARD, UNISYS and IBM platforms. These two pilot projects for a major U.S. corporation will provide additional reference sites for ConSyGen as we continue to expand our marketing effort.''

According to Jeff Richards, ConSyGen's newly appointed Vice President and Director of Marketing, ``We expect to complete both projects and return the converted code to the client for testing within three weeks. We have streamlined our toolset considerably over the past 2 months permitting us to complete Year 2000 projects much faster.
