Well some tech held, but I have 23 short positions (mix of mostly financials and retail, but also tech), and only two of them were up versus twenty one down. Obviously Tice has a large gold exposure, I don't right now. As I've been saying, owning gold, that's not bearish. Gold is not the way to play a liquidity mop up driven market correction IMO. Looks like I'm right on this call and Mr. Tice has it wrong. So far not costly, but wrong and a disservice to bear minded investors/speculators counting on this type of exposure.
