Well "all Europe" was not in ruins yet. Not in 1941. That was the period of time when things were relatively quiet in Europe. The German's occupied all Europe and had been pounding England. America was not in the war yet and there was no allied bombing at that point. That all came later, after America entered the war. I do think that site does not have a solid grasp of all the reasons FDR wanted a war. It would help the economy but there were other reasons. history1900s.about.com You mean to tell me that you think that governments never lie to the people they govern. That certainly is very enlightened, or is it gullible? I think gullible. And you think I'm being taken in by conspiracy theories while you claim all governments are honest. That's the most laughable theory yet!!
