Thank you,Dirk. Very interestingly vengeful article. It represents especially the sentiment of professional Mac users. For the sake of greed, most investors of AAPL acted like family members of a jade-in-the-mud type of daughter arranging a nuptual suit by a money-ridden tycoon and can't wait to rush her in bed with him. This deal, in the most conscienable sense, makes AAPL look pathetic, jubilated that someone handed a bowl of rice to feed their hungry investors. Yet, it helped AAPL lose its own ideal. AAPL is unique in the world of computers, now it's losing its own flavor. If the food in a Chinese restaurant becomes the same as the McDonald's next door, I'd rather park my car in the spacious parking lot of the latter and eat there.
However, it did boost the price of AAPL and I personally reapt a huge profit myself this week. Yet I know, in the long run, if AAPL is not careful, this cup of nector could turn into poison and everyone of us could be drinking it while still remaining thankful. That's how pathetic it is. Money, greed and material lust is all what it comes down to. I don't mind being stinkingly rich. But seeing things change color before money makes me feel bad. But the worse I feel, the more I want to play in order to extract more out of it. This is the best way I can respond to this deal.
