Ya, I sucked last week. Like I said, an overtime loss & a
one point loss made the difference between a pretty good
week & UGH! I historically start slow every year (which
hurts playing catch up), then I get into the swing of
things.

What I really need to do is watch more games so I can get
a feel for the quality teams & how they play at home,
away, on natural grass, indoors/outdoors, etc. One of the
reasons I accepted the Board (football pool) manager
position was to give me an excuse to watch more - so far
no dice. Something has come up every week to take me away
from the games. Still, I'm having fun & being Board
manager let's me chat more with the other folks every week.

BTW, the Swami (Chris Berman - ESPN) says pick the
Steelers over the Titans this week. I probably will - it's
an emotional attachment thing ;-)

As for burning CD's; I'm burning a series of 'Best of'
CD's from my own extensive collection of CD's (about 300).
I have so many CD's that only have 2, 3, or 4 tracks I
really like. I'm not so fond of the other 10-12 on the
disc which means they don't get played much. Sooooo, I'm
copying my favorites & burning some great 'Best of' Cd's
that only have songs I want to hear. All perfectly legal &
quite an enjoyable audio experience.

Windows Media Player 9.0 is an excellent platform to burn
CD's - even more so on Windows XP. Excellent sound
quality - I'm amazed at how clean the burned discs turn
out. Windows Media Player 9.0 is a free download on the
Microsoft Windows Update site for Windows 98SE thru
Windows XP.....
