Who said anything about good or bad? Are you saying that the Pinochet government we supported and put in Chile was good and Saddam's was bad? Geez... How about the Marcos, Noriega, Papadopoulos, Shah of Iran etc... and the list goes on. In fact Republicans have a history of creating and supporting ruthless dictatorships. The fact is that Iraq under Saddam had a secular military government. And given the tribal and muslim fundamentalist, he kept Iraq secular, with many Christians, Catholics, muslims, Jews and others living in Iraq just fine. BTW, I have to wonder why so many other ruthless dictatorships supported by Republican were just fine for them? I guess that makes neoCON repukes nothing but a bunch of hypocrites in my book.
