Obviously the first tax cut that the Bush administration attempted ($300) for each person did nothing to boost the economy. Most of the recent boost in the economy has come from people refinancing their homes and spending on defense and oil, not Tax Cuts !! Remember, during the Clinton administration there were no tax cuts and the economy soared. Tax cuts are not the answer !! So much for Tax Cut nonsense and trickle down economics. Oh yes, poverty, and joblessness is increasing every day. I guess you see THAT as a positive.
